Community Recycling and Economic Development (CRED) Programme
THE CRED PROGRAMME CLOSED TO NEW APPLICANTS ON 1ST AUGUST 2005
Following the final panel meeting in October 2005, a total of 202 community recycling, reuse and composting projects in England have been supported by the Programme. View breakdown of funding by region and theme.
The CRED Programme is funded by the Big Lottery Fund through its Transforming Waste initiative. The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts manages the £36.5 million CRED Programme and will award grants of between £50,000 and £300,000 to community based recycling, reuse and composting initiatives in England. Projects have until the end of 2007 to complete their CRED funded work.
